Wireless leveling system
Background
Overview
Camping should be an enjoyable experience, but finding a level spot and leveling out an RV can be time-consuming and frustrating. Our simple application is designed to provide just the right amount of information to help campers take control of the leveling process and bring joy back to their camping experience. With user-friendly features and a straightforward interface, our application streamlines the leveling process and enhances the overall camping experience.
Understand
The Challenge
Despite the major pain points in the current application, users continue to rely on it because of its familiarity. How can we ensure that users will understand and embrace the redesigned user experience while addressing their pain points and enhancing the overall usability of the application?
The Problem
The current application presents a range of challenges for users, including difficulty with initial setup, a frustrating onboarding experience, dead-ends that require restarting the app, lengthy forms to fill out, unreadable fonts and icons, poor data visualization, and unclear device status. These pain-points not only create frustration and confusion for users but also hinder their ability to effectively use the application.
Ideate & Iterate
Brainstorm
The initial sketches and low-fidelity wireframes enabled us to rapidly test our ideas with users, resulting in multiple iterations aimed at refining the user experience and informing the final product. Through this iterative process, we were able to translate user feedback into a seamless and intuitive user interface that met their needs and expectations.
Userflow
Overhauled the entire interface to create a seamless user experience with no dead-ends, eliminating friction points and enhancing usability. The redesign focused on streamlining user flows and improving navigation, resulting in a more intuitive and engaging interface for users.
